Amanda Bunting Comen
Amanda Bunting Comen is a Charlestonian and proud to call this city home. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and minored in women’s studies at the College of Charleston. She has been a nonprofit and marketing professional ever since, focusing heavily on social media, marketing and event planning.
In January 2019 Social ABCs was born to help businesses and nonprofits with their social media management and strategy, public relations, event planning, and other marketing needs to focus more on their business.
She is a Constant Contact and MailChimp partner and an ASPE Instructor.
Amanda graduated from the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Charleston program in 2006 and was a winner of the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 Awards in 2008. She has served on numerous committees and boards in the community over the years. She was the past Chair and current board member of the Women’s and Gender Studies Community Advisory Board at the College of Charleston, the City of Charleston’s Commission on Women and the Charleston Friends of the Library Board of Directors.
